Petzl Croll

Petzl Croll ascender. Essentially the centre piece of ascent in SRT as it is carried out in Europe today, the Croll is a very effective chest jammer. The cam is effectively self cleaning, and the angled body of the Croll makes it sit flat against the chest when used in conjunction with a standard sit harness and chest harness. The Croll is a sprung - cam jammer, gripping well on most ropes of 8 - 13mm diameter. This product is continually being tweaked towards perfection - the latest version having a new safety catch for greater ease of use.
