Petzl Grigri

Petzl Grigri belay device.

An autolocking device for single ropes of diameter 8.9mm - 11mm. Easy to control and pay out rope while climbing, the Grigri may also be used as a descender although not intended as such (and really requires a braking krab - it generates much less friction than a Stop). Simple and very effective and safe when used correctly - it *is* an autolock, but don't get lazy!
