Petzl Mini traxion

Petzl Mini traxion pulley jammer.

Simple integrated pulley jammer system which can be used for lifelining and hauling (gear or people). Also functions as a spare jammer (although not as effectively as an actual spare jammer!)

Swing cheek sides and simple bearing, simpler and quicker to put in use than the traditional 'pulley plus jammer and two oval krabs' arrangement; no bad thing when the pressure is on. A useful tool for many professional cavers, and those doing SRT in more remote locations where initial self rescue at least is a possibility.

This item needs an oval krab to work properly.

NOTE: if you buy one of these - learn how to use it before taking it underground. Really. Especially how to release it under load.
