Petzl e+LITE.

A very lightweight and compact emergency LED lamp. It has three white and one red LEDs, with various power / colour settings. Mounted on a thin elastic strap that allows it to work as a headtorch, on a wristband etc.

It is waterproof to 1m, and although not an intended use, it works well as an emergency caving backup. It is fine for camping underground, battery changes, and would work as a 'get out of jail' asset; although you wouldn't want to cave very far on it, in big passage!

At 28g it can be carried around the neck very comfortably, and even features a small whistle. A very versatile piece of kit, and the lithium batteries are easily obtainable (including big supermarkets).
