Viper

Viper light. A high quality, high tech, and very bright caving light.

Three LEDs in a compact lamphead, with the lithium ion battery helmet mounted at the rear for neatness.

There are four light settings, going roughly:

1. lasts about two days, enough to crawl or prussik on

2. lasts 10+ hours, enough for comfortable caving in most passage

3. lasts 3+ hours, a very bright light for enjoying *big* passage

4. lasts 1.5+ hours at c. 825 lumens, for spotting or filming.

Water resistant to a high degree (we're working on getting a depth quote, currently 10m), and altogether a useful bit of kit if you're caving mainly in the UK, or anywhere near any recharging facility. Also has a battery level indicator - a neat feature to be expected on all top end lamps.

The Viper has proved particularly popular with users who wish to take photographs or film. The significant brightness at full setting, combined with the very even spread beam makes an attractive package.

Comes with mains charger and car charger, plus all necessities for helmet mounting. As this is a British product, follow up care should be excellent (as you would expect with any top flight kit!)
