Oversuits

Aventure Verticale Confort oversuit, woman's. Waterproof, flexible and comfortable oversuit in a 'female' cut. Wide velcro front opening, two external pockets in chest, double lined knees and seat. Velcro closure cuffs and microfleece inside the collar for caving luxury. The fixed hood, which rolls up inside the collar, is actually significantly waterproof! The same as the male suit, except in cut and size. Note that XL female is very different to XL male!Gives a useful alternative fit for those for whom the 'Mens' suit is not the best cut. The decent cut facilitates movement, and does so without generating huge amounts of excess fabric on most people. Sizes XS - XXL, colours red or blue (black reinforcement on both). We can't guarantee that any size is available in a particular colour - but express a preference if it really matters.

MTDE Araff oversuit. Male cut, soft, flexible and surprisingly hard wearing oversuit. The Araff is a very high quality, well designed oversuit that is surprisingly versatile. It is made of two weights and types of fabric: a heavier, Cordura type use on the lower body, legs, forearms and collar, and a lighter fine weave on the main torso. This suit is not particularly waterproof, but it is relatively quick drying and highly breathable. Use it like a soft shell, and you'll save energy and be much less dehydrated by long trips - a nice combination of ease of movement with protection from the cave environment. Two chest pockets - one with a survival blanket, very good adjustable closure cuffs, velcro closure front (full length to make it easier to pee, even while wearing a harness), internal waist drawcord, and hood in collar. Usable from Mexico to winter Alpine caving, Lost Johns' to the Berger. Probably not your *only* suit as a UK caver...but excellent for the expeditionary type.

Starter Combination Pack: Warmbac Centre oversuit and AV Arphidia undersuit. A durable, value for money set that should suit most UK based cavers, at least initially; a heavy duty shell that is still SRT friendly, combined with a warm, flexible and quick draining insulating layer. The extra padding potential in the knees of the Arphidia also helps protect the joints for those starting caving, or very keen on crawling (for which the Warmbac is a good choice of oversuit, in any case!)
