Beast Big Momma tacklebag. A large, two piece, round based tackle bag well suited for more rectangular loads, and crawling / meander caves. As with all Beast gear, the materials are robust and there are well placed carrying straps at side and base, plus shoulder straps and haul points. Dual fabric base, entirely appropriate for its intended usage. As with the Mummy, this is not intended to accept Daren drums. However, it has a relatively large capacity (Beast quote 150m of 10.5mm rope) and seems to be a reasonable piece of kit to carry larger or well padded drills. Beast Mummy tacklebag. A two piece, round based tackle bag well suited for narrow passage. Fairly flat in section Usual build quality, with shoulder, base and haul straps. Double material on base, and can be returned to Beast to take advantage of their repair service. The capacity is somewhat smaller than the Daddy (Beast quote 50m of 10.5mm rope), and it will *not* accept Daren drums - camping gear will require drybags and sensible packing for those trips to Hard Rock and beyond. MTDE Exploration 30 tackle bag Oval based medium sized tackle bag. 30 litre capacity. Two side handles, handles at top and base, plus padded adjustable shoulder straps. Carrying cord integral to drawcord / eyelet closure. Double fabric on the base, with effective seam protection. A simple rope carrying bag that does the job in most vertical caves.

MTDE Minikit personal bag. Small lightweight PVC bag with drawcord closure, belt loop, and internal pocket closed with velcro. Well suited for small items such as rescue kit, spare food, SRT gear, or a general purpose 'pod' bag with a capacity of c. 7 litres. Low profile, simple, and effective. Note that while it *will* accept a full SRT kit, there will be no spare room at all. Anyone who wants a bag for absolutely everything - cowstails, sit harness and all - may prefer the larger MTDE Minipro, or Beast Sidekick.

MTDE Sherpa 60 tackle sack. A large, tough, cave compatible rucksack in full weight PVC. With a sixty litre carrying capacity and an oval base in double material, it is very versatile; expedition rucksack, dive bottle carrier, or cave pack for long underground camps (but not in tortuous systems, maybe!). It has the following features: two side handles and one top handle; haul cord; drawcord closure top, plus lid; accessory pocket; padded back; padded, adjustable shoulder straps (with accessory loops); padded, adjustable, and removable belt. Incidentally, one of these, teamed up with a pack frame and maybe a couple of smaller tackle bags, makes a seriously versatile expedition packing system, and (for all those caving masochists)allows really hideous loads to be carried...

Starless River brass drain holes. The MTDE and AV bags are not fitted with drain holes - this is common continental practice. However, for UK use we can fit two, three, or four drain holes to any of the bags in the range. These drain holes are 1/2 inch internal diameter - good quality brass eyelets - and can be fitted according to the customer's (reasonable) specification.
